Marco was launched in 2003 by Ian MacGregor, his wife Lillian, and Terry Deakin.

Marco is led by a team with a wealth of experience within the Cable Management sector of the electrical installation products market. This expertise, combined with a customer-led approach to our business, has driven our rapid success as an award winning company. From more than twenty thousand new businesses started in Wales since 2000, Marco has been awarded a place in the Top 100 Start Up Companies. This is a prestigious award and reflects the development the company has made since its inception.

Marco products have been installed in a wide variety of prestigious buildings – ranging from Liverpool’s famous Liver Building to the Millennium Stadium, and including many schools and colleges, hospitals and offices, as more and more people discover the excellent design features and the high quality of the Marco product range.

		Ian MacGregor - Managing Director Ian has 40 years' experience and was Sales and Marketing Director of cable management company Mita (UK) for 14.5 years. Before that, he was a Director of FDB Electrical and prior to that he worked for various companies within the BICC Group.

		Terry Deakin - Director Terry, who also has 40 years' electrical industry experience, was Chairman and Managing Director of a very successful group of electrical wholesaling companies in North Wales and the North West. Edmundson Electrical purchased the business in 1999. Terry has a wide range of contacts in the electrical industry.

		Lillian MacGregor - Director Lillian has worked in industry for about 20 years running busy sales offices in both the electrical and information technology sectors. She assisted in the start up and general running of the business, and is now primarily involved in managing the HR department.

		Brian Pigott - General Manager Marco has strengthened and expanded its management team with the appointment of Brian Pigott, as General Manager. A graduate in Business and Commerce and a qualified Accountant, with almost 20 years experience in the telecoms and cable management manufacturing sectors, he also serves on the Executive Committee of the EEF-North West and on the Advisory Panel of EEF Cymru-Wales.

		Paul Diggins - Sales Director Paul has over twenty years sales and operational experience in various management roles within the construction products market, formerly with Pilkington Glass PLC and, latterly, as a Director with MITA (UK) Ltd, within the Schneider Electric Group. In 1998, Paul gained a distinction at Brunel University in a post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies (DipMan).

		Steve Davis - Business Development Manager Another new edition to the Senior Management team, Steve brings with him 15 years of specialist knowledge gained within the Structured Cabling and Cable Management markets. Having worked for MITA & Molex Premise Networks , Steve has first-hand experience in developing and marketing products to meet the ever-changing needs of the Power & DATA market place.
